Workshop Leather masks.
In this workshop you will make your own leather mask based on a ready-made pattern & of course you can adjust the pattern a bit as you wish.
The workshop starts with a brief explanation of different types of leather and the formation of leather through pressure and water. Then you transfer the chosen pattern to the leather and cut it out. Then you can see how you can harden and shape your leather in different ways. Which of course you can immediately apply to your mask.
There are many different types of leather paint. We provide an explanation of the most common types of paint.
You can use this to get started on different test pieces of leather and then you start painting your own mask.
There are different types of leather available to make a choice. Unleash your creativity on this special material.
Option 1: Basic mask (choice of different models).
Costs € 47.50 including the use of all required equipment / tools & some goodies with coffee / tea.
Course duration: 2 to 2.5 hours
Option 2: The (basic) mask can give you more shape with different techniques.
Optionally, the following techniques can be offered, among others: carving, burning, stamping.
Costs € 87.50 including the use of all required equipment / tools & some goodies with coffee / tea
Course duration: 3 to 4 hours (extension possible).
Time: You can make an appointment on a date and time that suits you best.
Location: Atelier Wanneperveen. From 6 to … people, it can also be done on location (travel costs € 0.19 per km).
